Shows promise, needs an update

I give this app 2 stars. I really like the fact that stories open up in its own integrated browser.

However, it is painfully slow to update, especially when switching between sections - world, sci/tech, etc. Even when Im connected to wifi - it is the app that is slow, not the connection.

It seems that it does not automatically refresh stories immediately upon opening the app and it takes a long time to fetch new stories.

Im not going to delete it but will eagerly await an update since I am a news junkie.

I would really like to see more options for news sources, but the lag issue simply must be attended to.
