I have been using this app for nearly 3 years. I think its awesome, but it really needs an update. How about iso4 fast app switching? Or hi res graphics for the retina display. Or maybe landscape mode? An iPad app would be nice as well...

The entertainmet section has had the same article about the show Glee at the top of the page for the past 4 weeks. Make it go away! The Emmys are over, time to move on.

Still no landscape view in the long overdue update?! Big changes for iPad, but still no effort to make the tiny screen of an iPod or iPhone readable? Five-star selection of articles and one-star design and usability. Prior Review: Okay, But Could Be Better I use this daily to skim the news, despite problems refreshing. Built-in Web browser is useless because the text is too small to read. Should either eliminate it, launching Safari for every article, or add landscape mode. Fortunately there is a button to switch to Safari, but since thats always necessary it just adds an extra step. Gotta kill the daily article from The Onion! It wastes space and discredits Newsdesk. I may stop using this after setting up RSS feeds in other readers.

On the iPhone 4, the images and icons are pixelated and look bad. Most of the stories will ONLY open in Safari? Whats the point of the app, if the story wont even open in the app. Same issues on the iPad. Wont open most stories right in the app. It used to be ok on the iPhone, now its useless.

So there is now no point in using this app. Very unfortunate, as I used this several times a day. Ill keep it a week just to see if they update it, otherwise, they may as well delete it off the store. Also, the pictures are now pixelated and very low resolution. Update: been awhile and I guess they dont care about the app anymore. Im now using New York Times app, and Im very happy with it. I recommend.

Ive used your app with great satisfaction for a year now, but I was hoping you could bring back AlJazeera headline like the app used to have

It was a good idea, but the categories and news sources dont seem to be configurable and some of the news sources, e.g. Financial Times, are not accessible to everyone without subscription.

Green text needs to go. I cant seem to find a setting that changes the green text into something that isnt so off putting. The logo being green is fine, no need to carry it over into the headlines. Other than that, good app idea.

Couldnt figure out how to get Al Jazeera off my news channels.

Crashes immediately upon opening

I panned the previous update. This new update fixes most of my complaints, and hey landscape is nice bonus. The devs got it right on this go around, and Im happy to give a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of it. Awesome update to an awesome app thats been on my homescreen since 2008 (the only third-party app to do so).
